Welcome to Carbureted Films, my online filmmaking home. I am Steve Olander. I created the "Carbureted Films" idea by combining old school filming style with today's story telling methods. Together they create an "explosive mixture" that is sure to accelerate the viewer into an exciting movie experience!

Here you can ride with me as I go through the process to create a short film entitled Musclin'. When finished it will be entered in film festivals and you will also be able to see it here as a webisode series!

The "Carbureted Films" style does not mean only car films. The style can be applied to any kind of story to create a look and feel that is familiar, but not commonly executed today. This brings a new experience to movie enjoyment which separates the films I will be making from most of what is out there.

Besides car films I also have a comedy, a coming of age philosophical story, and a sci-fi action/horror story as well. By combining two aspects of film making that are decades apart these films should be a new "flavor" for all to enjoy!
